01 What types of shipping containers do you sell?
Prime Freight Containers offers a range of shipping containers depending on current availability. These may include new or one-trip containers, used containers, standard dry containers, high-cube containers, storage containers, cargo containers, double-door containers and selected modified container solutions.
02 What container sizes are available?
Common sizes include 20ft and 40ft shipping containers. High-cube versions may also be available for customers who require additional internal height. Always review the applicable product listing for the exact dimensions and configuration.
03 What is a one-trip shipping container?
A one-trip container is generally a newer container that has completed limited cargo use after manufacture. It may still show minor handling marks, scratches or other cosmetic signs associated with transportation and storage.
04 What condition are used shipping containers in?
Used containers may show normal signs of previous service, including dents, scratches, faded paint, surface rust, floor wear or previous repairs. The exact condition varies between individual units and should be reviewed against the applicable product description.
05 What does Wind & Watertight mean?
Wind & Watertight generally describes a container intended to provide practical protection from ordinary wind and rain when the doors, seals, roof and panels are functioning appropriately. These units are commonly considered for stationary storage use.
06 What does Cargo Worthy mean?
Cargo Worthy generally refers to a structurally serviceable shipping container that may be suitable for cargo use subject to any applicable inspection, certification or transportation requirements. Cosmetic wear is common on used Cargo Worthy units.
07 What is a high-cube container?
A high-cube shipping container provides additional internal height compared with a standard container of similar length. High-cube containers can be useful for bulky equipment, additional storage capacity and certain conversion projects.
08 Are the product photos of the exact container I will receive?
Unless a product listing specifically states that the photos show the exact individual unit, images may be representative of the container type, size or condition being offered. Used containers can vary in color and cosmetic appearance.
09 How do I order a shipping container?
Browse the available products, select the container that meets your requirements, review the product and delivery information and complete the applicable checkout or ordering process. Payment instructions are then provided for the order where applicable.
10 What payment methods do you accept?
Prime Freight Containers currently accepts Bank Transfer only. Customers should follow the payment instructions associated with their applicable order and verify the information before sending funds.
11 Can I pay by credit or debit card?
Credit and debit card payments are not currently accepted. Bank Transfer is currently the approved payment method unless Prime Freight Containers introduces another payment option through its official ordering process.
12 When is my order considered paid?
Initiating a bank transfer does not automatically mean payment has been confirmed. The applicable funds must be received and verified before the order proceeds as a paid transaction.
13 How much does shipping cost?
Standard eligible shipping and delivery is currently charged at a $450 flat rate nationwide across the United States, unless a particular order requires special transportation or services that are separately disclosed.
14 How long does delivery take?
Eligible orders are generally scheduled for delivery within an estimated 5–7 business days after applicable payment and order requirements have been completed.
15 Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes. Prime Freight Containers provides eligible shipping and delivery nationwide across the United States, subject to safe delivery access and applicable order requirements.
16 Is the 5–7 business-day delivery timeframe guaranteed?
No. The 5–7 business-day period is an estimated standard delivery timeframe. Weather, road conditions, carrier scheduling, destination, site accessibility and other transportation factors may affect the actual delivery date.
17 What do I need to prepare before container delivery?
Make sure the delivery location is accessible, reasonably level and stable. Consider road width, gate clearance, turning space, overhead power lines, trees, structures and the area where the container will be placed.
18 How much space does the delivery truck need?
Delivery vehicles generally require substantially more room than the container itself for entry, turning, reversing and unloading. The exact space required depends on the delivery vehicle, container size and unloading method.
19 What happens if the delivery site is inaccessible?
If safe delivery cannot be completed because of inadequate access, unstable ground, blocked entry, insufficient clearance or another undisclosed site condition, additional transportation or redelivery charges may apply.
20 Should I be present when my container is delivered?
We recommend that you or an authorized representative be available whenever possible. This makes it easier to confirm the intended placement area and address any immediate delivery questions.
21 Can I inspect the container after delivery?
Yes. Customers should inspect their container as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. If you believe an incorrect product was delivered or there is significant undisclosed damage, contact us promptly and provide photographs where appropriate.
22 What is your return policy?
Eligible return requests may be submitted within 30 days from confirmed delivery. Contact Prime Freight Containers before arranging a return, as shipping containers require specialized transportation.
23 How long do refunds take?
Once an eligible returned product has been received, inspected and approved, an approved refund is processed within 14 days. Your bank may require additional time to make the funds available after processing.
24 Who pays for return transportation?
For an ordinary change-of-mind return, applicable return transportation costs may be the customer's responsibility. Where the return results from an incorrect item or another issue for which Prime Freight Containers accepts responsibility, transportation will be addressed as part of the approved resolution.
25 Can custom or modified containers be returned?
Containers modified specifically to a customer's instructions may not qualify for an ordinary change-of-mind return after customization has begun. This does not remove rights that may apply to materially defective or incorrectly supplied products.
26 Can I customize a shipping container?
Selected container modifications may be available depending on the project and current services. Examples can include windows, personnel doors, insulation, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, painting and interior modifications.
27 Can I use a shipping container as an office or workshop?
Shipping containers are commonly considered for many conversion projects, including storage rooms, workshops and offices. Customers are responsible for determining whether modifications, permits, engineering or local approvals are required for their intended use.
28 Do I need a permit for a shipping container?
Permit, zoning and property requirements vary by location and intended use. Customers should check with the appropriate local authority, property owner or homeowners association before installing or modifying a container where necessary.
29 Is sales tax charged on my order?
Applicable sales tax is collected where required for the transaction. The amount may depend on factors such as the delivery destination, products purchased and qualifying exemption status.
30 Can I submit a resale or tax-exemption certificate?
Customers who believe they qualify for tax-exempt treatment may contact us before payment and provide applicable valid documentation. Submission of documentation does not automatically guarantee that the transaction qualifies for exemption.
31 Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your delivery address. Once transportation has been arranged or the order is in transit, changing the destination may require additional coordination and may not always be possible.
32 Can I cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order. Cancellation eligibility may depend on whether payment has been received and whether preparation, customization, dispatch or transportation has already begun.
