Shipping & Delivery Policy
Prime Freight Containers provides shipping and delivery services nationwide across the United States. Our goal is to make the delivery process clear, practical and easy to understand before you place your order.
Because shipping containers are oversized freight products, delivery requires appropriate transportation equipment and suitable access to the destination. Please review the information below before ordering.
Standard shipping and delivery is charged at a flat rate of $450 nationwide across the USA.
Most eligible orders are scheduled for delivery within an estimated 5–7 business days.
We coordinate shipping to eligible residential, commercial and industrial locations throughout the United States.
Shipping Coverage
Prime Freight Containers offers shipping and delivery nationwide across the United States.
Delivery is available to eligible residential, commercial, construction, agricultural and industrial locations, subject to suitable road access and site conditions.
Certain remote or difficult-to-access locations may require additional coordination before delivery can be scheduled.
$450 Flat-Rate Shipping
Our standard shipping and delivery charge is $450 nationwide across the USA.
The flat-rate shipping charge applies to standard delivery arrangements for eligible orders unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, quotation or order confirmation.
If an order requires special transportation, unusual unloading equipment or delivery to a location with exceptional access requirements, any applicable additional costs will be discussed before such services are arranged.
Estimated Delivery Time
Most eligible orders are scheduled for delivery within 5–7 business days after the order has been confirmed and the applicable payment requirements have been completed.
The 5–7 business day period is an estimated delivery timeframe. Actual delivery timing may depend on product availability, destination, carrier scheduling, weather, road conditions, site accessibility and other transportation factors.
If a significant scheduling issue affects an order, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate updated delivery information.
Order Processing
Before delivery is arranged, an order may need to go through several preparation steps.
- Order information is reviewed.
- Payment status is confirmed.
- Product availability is verified where necessary.
- The delivery address is reviewed.
- Appropriate transportation is coordinated.
- A delivery schedule is arranged.
Customers should provide complete and accurate order and delivery information to help avoid unnecessary delays.
Delivery Address Requirements
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.
Please verify your:
- Street address
- City
- State
- ZIP code
- Telephone or contact information
- Any relevant site-access instructions
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information can cause delays and may result in additional transportation requirements.
Preparing Your Site for Delivery
Shipping containers are large freight items, and customers should ensure that the delivery site is suitable before the scheduled delivery.
The container placement area should generally be:
- Accessible to the delivery vehicle
- Reasonably level
- Stable and capable of supporting the container
- Free from unnecessary obstructions
- Suitable for unloading and placement
Customers should prepare the site before the delivery vehicle arrives.
Truck & Delivery Access
Delivery trucks require substantially more space than the shipping container itself.
Before ordering, customers should consider:
Roads and driveways should be suitable for the size and weight of the delivery vehicle.
Entry points should provide adequate clearance for the delivery truck and container.
Sufficient room may be required for the vehicle to turn, reverse and position the container.
Trees, power lines and structures should not obstruct the vehicle or unloading process.
Ground Conditions
The delivery vehicle must be able to safely reach the intended placement area.
Muddy, excessively soft, unstable or steep ground may make delivery difficult or unsafe.
Customers should inform us before delivery if they believe the destination may present unusual access or ground-condition challenges.
Container Placement
Customers should identify the desired container placement location before delivery.
The ability to position a container in a particular location depends on safe vehicle access, available maneuvering space, ground conditions and the unloading method.
Delivery personnel may decline a requested placement if doing so would create an unreasonable safety or property-damage risk.
Customer Availability at Delivery
We recommend that the customer or an authorized representative be available during delivery whenever possible.
This allows the recipient to:
- Confirm the delivery location
- Direct the driver to the intended placement area
- Review the delivered product
- Raise any immediate delivery concerns
Product Inspection at Delivery
Customers should inspect the delivered container as soon as reasonably possible.
Used shipping containers may show normal cosmetic characteristics such as dents, scratches, paint wear, surface rust or previous repairs depending on the advertised condition.
If the container appears materially different from the product ordered or has significant undisclosed damage, please document the issue with photographs and contact us promptly.
Delivery Delays
Although our standard estimated delivery timeframe is 5–7 business days, transportation schedules can occasionally be affected by circumstances beyond ordinary control.
Possible causes include:
- Severe weather
- Road closures
- Carrier scheduling changes
- Equipment issues
- Remote-location access
- Incorrect delivery information
- Unsafe site conditions
- Unexpected transportation restrictions
Where practical, customers will be informed if a known issue materially affects the expected delivery schedule.
Changes to the Delivery Address
If you need to change your delivery address, contact us as soon as possible before the order is dispatched.
Once transportation has been scheduled or the order is in transit, changing the destination may not be possible or may require additional coordination and charges.
Failed or Unsuccessful Delivery
A delivery may be unsuccessful if the driver cannot safely access the property or complete unloading because of conditions that were not disclosed before delivery.
Examples may include:
- Insufficient road or gate clearance
- Blocked access
- Unsafe or unstable ground
- Inadequate turning space
- Incorrect address information
- Undisclosed access restrictions
Additional transportation or redelivery costs may apply where a second delivery attempt is required because the site was not ready or accessible.
Refusing a Delivery
Customers should not refuse delivery solely because of normal cosmetic characteristics consistent with the advertised condition of a used shipping container.
If you believe there is a material issue with the delivered product, contact Prime Freight Containers as soon as possible so the matter can be reviewed.
Local Rules & Site Requirements
Customers are responsible for determining whether local zoning, permits, property restrictions or other requirements apply to shipping-container placement at their location.
Delivery of a container does not represent confirmation that its placement or intended use complies with every local regulation.
